Floor and decor hours8/16/2023 FYI for all the customers who have had issues with duralux/NuCore please go to the Houzz app as we are having a lawyer looking into filing a class action lawsuit. Shame on you Floor and Decor as you take advantage of unsuspecting customers. Stay away from this company as many others are having issue with NuCore and other products Shop elsewhere as you will be much happier. You can all see why they have an F rating on BBB as well as many bad reviews elsewhere. Had it professionally installed but as many of you know Floor and Decor does not stand by their products or warranty. Denting and planks not staying together everywhere. It'll be similar upkeep, but at least will feel and look great. Advice: If you want a beautiful floor, get REAL wood. Film or no, I'm about ready to throw some high gloss stuff on it, so at LEAST it'll look nice SOME of the time. Damp mopping helps to make lvp floors look less crackerbarrel-ish, but not much. Makes you long for the days of vacuuming twice a week. Have to get down on all fours EVERY DAY to have a clean floor. Following expert advice that you MUST dust every day to keep sand and grime from dulling your floor (even further), when you look at the floor closely, aka, if you accidentally drop something and bend down to pick it up, you seen TONS of crumbs, bits and pieces that are still left on the floor. But at the VERY least, one would hope that lvp would FEEL less grainy and dirty underfoot. Can't add polish to shine it up-experts say it'll leave a film. But it's just that a dull finish, aka, matte finish or satin finish, aka, rather dull finish looks like a cracker barrel store floor no matter what you do. Get REAL wood flooring-or REAL carpeting.Īfter getting lvp installed and using Shaw's and the microfiber mop 'system' for cleaning it, the floors become LESS dull, LESS smudged. Should have known better after spending thousands of dollars in this pathetic company. What a shame! We only purchased here because our contractor recommended it. We wrote to Retail Equation twice but no response or reply until now. It was the only time we have tried returning any item to Floor & Décor. We went of a Floor & Décor store to return the items for a store credit with all the original receipts, but the return was denied and was referred to your office. In their website, it says they give store credit for returns over 90 days. By the time we were trying to return the unused items/unopened items to Floor & Décor, we did not realize we only had 90 days to do so and it was already passed 90 days. Unfortunately, due to problems which were beyond our control (such as delayed delivery of kitchen cabinets, contractor work quality issues, stock availability issues on some materials, etc.), the renovation was not finished until 1st week of Oct. We never returned a single item while the renovation was going on to make sure all materials needed by the contractor were available to him until the renovation was complete. We purchased several materials/items from Floor & Décor at different times during the renovation. We started renovation of our house mid-June 2022.
